The ATMEGA644V-10PU is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller based on the RISC architecture. It features 64 KB of in-system programmable flash memory with read-while-write capability, 2 KB of EEPROM, and 4 KB of SRAM. The device includes 32 general-purpose I/O pins, 32 working registers, and a real-time counter. It offers three flexible timers/counters with compare modes and PWM, a UART with two serial interfaces, an I2C (TWI) interface, an 8-channel 10-bit ADC with optional differential inputs and programmable gain, and a 16-bit timer/counter with multiple modes. Additional features include a programmable watchdog timer with internal oscillator, an on-chip analog comparator, external and internal interrupt sources, multiple sleep modes (idle, ADC noise reduction, power-save, power-down, standby, extended standby), and a JTAG interface for debugging. Operating voltage ranges from 2.7V to 5.5V, and it can achieve throughput of up to 20 MIPS at 20 MHz. The microcontroller is fully static, supports powerful single-cycle instructions, and provides various power management modes for energy efficiency.
