The ANT7-M24LR16E is an antenna reference board featuring a ready-to-use PCB design. It includes an M24LR16E-R dual interface EEPROM IC connected to a 15mm x 15mm, 13.56MHz etched RF antenna on one side and to an I2C bus on the other. The M24LR16E-R is a dynamic NFC/RFID tag IC with dual interface, capable of electrically erasable programmable memory (EEPROM) operation. It is powered via VCC and operates contactlessly through electromagnetic waves received from the antenna. This board enables system designers to evaluate the M24LR16E-R’s performance and capabilities easily and to initiate their designs. It can also demonstrate energy harvesting functionality when used with a compatible demonstration board, with power supplied directly from the M24LR16E-R’s VOUT pin. The PCB features an I2C connector, an energy harvesting output with a 10nF filtering circuit, and an RF WIP/BUSY indicator with a 20kΩ pull-up resistor. Its application scope includes wireless communication, networking, and related systems.
