The 1246 Flora Lux Sensor is designed for accurate light measurement across a broad range of lighting conditions. Unlike low-cost CdS cells, this sensor provides precise lux readings and can be configured for different gain and timing settings, allowing detection from as low as 0.1 lux up to over 40,000 lux. It features both infrared and full-spectrum diodes, enabling separate measurement of infrared, full-spectrum, or human-visible light, thus more accurately representing what the human eye perceives. The sensor communicates via an I²C interface with selectable 7-bit addresses (0x39, 0x29, 0x49) using jumpers. Its temperature range is from -30°C to 80°C, making it suitable for various environments. Integration is straightforward: align the sensor with SDA and SCL pins and connect to power and ground using conductive thread, ensuring proper connection without crossing lines.
