The 1356 is a TCS34725 Flora Color Sensor featuring an integrated white illumination LED. It includes an on-chip IR blocking filter, precisely localized to the color sensing photodiodes, which reduces IR interference and enables accurate color measurements that align closely with human vision. The sensor boasts a high dynamic range of 3,800,000:1, with adjustable integration time and gain settings, making it suitable for use behind darkened glass or fabric. It also incorporates a neutral 4150K LED with a MOSFET driver for consistent illumination during sensing, allowing the LED to be powered on or off as needed to conserve energy. The board uses an I²C 7-bit address of 0x29 and is ideal for applications in LED lighting, sensing, and instrumentation.
