They work best on low surface energy substrates such as metals, sealed wood, glass, plastics, composites, and painted surfaces. Porous or fibrous materials may require sealing, and materials like copper, brass, or plasticized vinyl might need priming to prevent interaction with the adhesive. For hydrophilic surfaces like glass or ceramic tile in high humidity environments, a silane coupling agent can be used to ensure durable bonding. Lightly roughened surfaces might reduce bond strength. The adhesive pads are available in rolls of 500, with a core diameter of 76mm (3 inches). They offer excellent UV resistance, making them suitable for outdoor use. The ideal application temperature ranges from 21°C to 38°C, with a minimum of 10°C and a maximum long-term temperature of 71°C.
