The device drives the MOSFET gate high when the input voltage is below a user-adjustable threshold, utilizing an integrated charge pump to supply a 10V gate-to-source voltage for full enhancement. When input voltage exceeds the threshold, the gate is rapidly pulled low to disconnect the load. Alternatively, it can be configured as a voltage limiter, where the GATE output issues sawtooth signals to limit voltage without disconnecting the load. The device supports input voltages from 5.5V to 72V, operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, and includes fast gate shutoff with 100mA sink capability.
