The off-the-shelf KK2.54mm pitch single-row cable assembly facilitates prototyping and preproduction processes, offering reliable electrical contact through dual-captive terminals with low insertion force. Features include polarizing header backwalls, polarizing ribs, and pegs to prevent accidental mismating during assembly. Friction-lock headers and receptacles ensure secure mating and prevent disconnection. Made from high-temperature nylon with reflow-matte tin plating, these assemblies withstand up to 260°C soldering processes. Suitable applications include automotive, consumer electronics, data and telecommunications, and medical technology. The series supports automated termination, accurate PCB placement, and is rated for up to 500VAC and 600VDC, with a maximum current of 4A. They are rated for up to 25 mating cycles, operate from -40°C to +105°C, and mate with various KK254 headers.
