The Pico-Spox 1.5 mm tin (Sn) discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf (OTS) products designed to facilitate prototyping and preproduction across various industries. They utilize popular terminal types for ease of access to crimp applicators, which are widely available. The assemblies feature a vertical and right-angle single-row header with a unique friction lock that provides latch protection and secure terminal retention. The 1.5 mm pitch connector offers reliable mating with space-saving design, providing approximately 30% reduction in footprint compared to 2 mm wire-to-board connectors. Applications include consumer electronics, industrial automation, and Medical Technology. The series includes readily available tooling, SMT-type plug headers for automatic assembly, polarization keys to prevent mis-mating, and UL and CSA certifications. They handle a maximum voltage of 250VAC and current of 2.5A per contact, with wire compatibility for 24 AWG UL 10002 cables. The housing is made of nylon, with contacts of phosphor bronze, tin-plated, and natural resin color. The connectors are rated for up to 10 mating cycles and operate in temperatures from -10°C to +105°C.
