The Pico-SPOX 1.5 tin (Sn) discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf (OTS) products designed for both prototyping and preproduction across various industries. These assemblies utilize popular terminals compatible with widely available crimp applicators, simplifying assembly and maintenance. Equipped with vertical and right-angle single-row headers featuring a unique friction lock, they ensure latch protection and secure terminal retention. The 1.5mm pitch connector offers reliable mating retention while saving approximately 30% of space compared to a 2mm wire-to-board connector system. Suitable applications include consumer electronics, industrial automation, and MedTech. The product series includes the Pico-SPOX-to-Pico-SPOX cable assembly, which supports automatic assembly with SMT-type plug headers, polarized keys to prevent mismating, and UL and CSA certifications. Constructed with a nylon housing, phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating, and rated for a maximum voltage of 250VAC and continuous operation up to 10 cycles within an operating temperature range of -10°C to +105°C. Wire specifications include UL 10002 rated 24AWG wire.
