OHMITE's 280 Series Corrib resistors are heavy-duty power resistors ideal for applications demanding high currents at very low resistance values. Constructed with corrugated resistive wire and a protective vitreous enamel coating, these resistors offer exceptional durability and cooling efficiency. They are particularly well-suited for motor starting, dynamic braking, and other applications involving frequent start-stop cycles. Custom units up to 1500 watts are available. The hollow-core design allows for secure mounting to chassis surfaces. RoHS compliant versions are available by adding an 'E' suffix to the part number.
