The Pico-SPOX 1.5mm pitch off-the-shelf (OTS) cable assemblies are designed for quick prototyping and preproduction in various applications, including consumer electronics, industrial automation, and MedTech. These assemblies utilize popular terminal types for easy access to crimp applicators widely available in the market. The cable features a vertical and right-angle single-row header with a friction lock, ensuring secure terminal retention and latch protection. The compact design offers a 30% space savings compared to traditional 2mm wire-to-board connectors without compromising mating reliability. Made with UL 10002 rated wire (24 AWG), a nylon housing, and phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating, these assemblies are UL and CSA certified. They support a maximum voltage of 250VAC and a maximum current of 2.5A per contact. The assembly is compatible with automatic SMT assembly, features polarization keys to prevent mismating, and has a durability rating of up to 10 connect/disconnect cycles, operating effectively within temperatures from -10°C to +105°C.
