The Pico-Spox 1.5 tin (Sn) discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf solutions designed for both prototyping and preproduction. They utilize popular terminal types for easy access to crimp applicators, which are widely available in the market. The assemblies feature a vertical and right-angle single-row header with a unique friction lock that provides latch protection and helps secure terminal retention. The 1.5mm pitch connector offers secure mating retention, compact design, and 30% space savings compared to traditional 2mm wire-to-board connectors. Suitable applications include consumer electronics, industrial automation, and medical technology. The Pico-SPOX-to-Pigtail cable assembly supports automatic assembly with SMT-type plug headers, enhanced with polarization keys to prevent mismating. Certified by UL and CSA, the assembly has a maximum voltage rating of 250VAC, a maximum current of 2.5A per contact, and uses UL 10002 24 AWG wire. Its construction includes a nylon housing, phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating, and natural-colored resin, with a durability of up to 10 mating cycles and an operating temperature range from -10°C to +105°C.
