This off-the-shelf Mega-Fit female-to-Mega-Fit female cable assembly supports up to 25A current and is available in various cable lengths. It features a compact, polarized connector with unique keying to prevent mis-mating and protect the terminals. The design includes a new latch with superior retention and a low-mating force, ensuring reliable connection and easy installation. The assembly is suitable for applications in commercial vehicles, home appliances, industrial equipment, and telecommunications. It uses a nylon housing with high-conductivity copper contacts, plated with tin for durability. The connector incorporates internal locking mechanisms, TPA for terminal backout prevention, and meets UL and CSA safety standards. Compatible with 12 AWG wire, it operates up to 600V AC/DC and temperatures from -40°C to +105°C. Mating force is up to 6.8N, unmating force is at least 5N, and it supports up to 25 mating cycles.
