This off-the-shelf Mega-Fit female-to-Mega-Fit female cable assembly delivers a current rating of 25A and is available in various cable lengths. It features a compact connector with polarizing and unique keying to prevent mis-mating and protect terminal contacts, minimizing electrical arcing. The assembly includes a locking mechanism with a TPA (terminal position assurance) to prevent terminal backout, along with a new latch design that provides superior retention and low mating force. The nylon housing meets V0 and glow-wire European standards, ensuring safety and durability. It utilizes high-conductivity copper contacts, tin plating, and features an internal locking mechanism supporting low insertion force and easy hookup. Suitable for use in commercial vehicles, home appliances, industrial applications, and telecommunications, with a maximum voltage of 600V AC/DC, operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C. Mating force does not exceed 6.8N, unmating force is at least 5N, and it supports up to 25 mating cycles.
