The FCSS is an IEC 320-C14 filtered inlet featuring a front-accessible single fuse holder when the mains connector is disconnected. It incorporates a mains EMI filter within a compact, shielded metal housing, providing excellent attenuation of conducted electromagnetic interference from the mains supply and reducing conducted emissions from the equipment. Designed for use with class I appliances, all models include a bleed resistor to safely discharge filter capacitors when power is disconnected. The filter complies with safety standards EN60939-2 for passive filters and ANSI/UL 1283 for EMI filters. It operates across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +110°C, with full power performance up to +50°C. The inlet is suitable for IEC 320-C14 applications, available with fuse ratings of 1A, 3A, 6A, and 10A, and features screw mount versions, 6.3 x 0.8mm Faston terminals, and a compact design suitable for ITE applications.
